Achievements
The Chi Iota Iota Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., proudly known as the Capital City Ques, continues to make a lasting impact throughout Richland and Lexington Counties. Our chapter is deeply committed to service, leadership, and uplifting those around us—building bridges of opportunity and brotherhood wherever we go.
Over the years, the Capital City Ques have awarded numerous scholarships to local high school seniors, empowering the next generation of scholars to pursue higher education and create change in their communities. Beyond providing financial support, our members serve as mentors, guiding young men and women through leadership development, academic preparation, and personal growth programs.
Our commitment to service extends well beyond the classroom. We host and participate in various community-focused events, from voter registration drives and neighborhood cleanups to health initiatives and food giveaways. Each of these events is designed to meet the needs of our community with compassion and consistency. Whether uplifting a family in need or supporting local initiatives, we lead with purpose and pride.
Culturally, the chapter honors our fraternity’s rich traditions through signature events like Achievement Week, Talent Hunt competitions, and social action programs that promote scholarship and uplift our community. Each event serves as a reminder of why we serve—celebrating our people, our history, and our shared responsibility to do better together.
As we look ahead, the Capital City Ques remain focused on strengthening our impact, building lasting partnerships, and continuing to embody the four cardinal principles of Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift in everything we do.
